Commission

Our commission will be calculated at the percentage dependent on the type of agency chosen by You and defined as follows:

Sole Agency

McGlashans Property Services will be Sole Agents for the period agreed with you, the seller at the agreed commission rate and upon the terms. The Sole Agency agreement will continue after this period until terminated by either party giving 21 days written notice. During the period of Sole Agency you must not instruct any other agent to sell the Property. After the period of Sole Agency, if you instruct another agent and thereby create a multiple agency our fee will revert to our standard multiple agency fee of 2% plus VAT.

You will be liable to pay remuneration to McGlashans Property Services in addition to any other costs or charges agreed, if at any time contracts for the sale of the Property are exchanged with a buyer introduced by McGlashans Property Services during the period of our sole agency or with whom we had negotiations about the Property during that period, or with a buyer introduced by another agent during that period.

Joint Sole Agency

McGlashans Property Services will be appointed as joint sole agents with another Agent agreed by McGlashans Property Services and You. The above Sole Agency terms will apply, but the commission will be divided between us and the other agent.

Multiple Agency

McGlashans Property Services will be selling agents at the agreed commission rate and upon the terms detailed. The agency may be terminated by either party giving fourteen days' written notice. During the period of agency, You may instruct other agents to sell the property.
