Tenants Fee Information – 1st June 2019
The following fees may apply
In addition to paying rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments before the tenancy starts, payable to McGlashans Property Services
- Holding deposit – a sum equivalent to one weeks rent
- Security Deposit: a sum equivalent of 5 weeks rent if the annual rental figure is under £50,000or a sum equivalent to 6 weeks rent if the rent is over £50,000 per annum
During the Tenancy payable to McGlashans Property Services
- Payment of £50 if you wish to make any variation to an existing Tenancy Agreement
- Payment of Interest due in the event of late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England Base rate
- The cost of a replacement key or security device
- Payment of unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with an early termination of your Tenancy limited to the loss suffered by the Landlord as a result of such early termination
During the Tenancy payable to the relevant Provider
- Communications – Telephone, Broadband
- Installation of any Satellite or Cable TV as may be required
- Subscription to Cable/ Satellite provider
- Television Licence
- Council Tax
- Utilities – Gas, Water, Electricity
Other Permitted Payments
- Any other payments not included above but allowed under the relevant legislation
